We live in a world shaped by invisible forces. Electricity powers our homes. Wi-Fi connects us instantly. Smartphones allow us to communicate across the globe with a tap. And now, artificial intelligence is expanding what we thought was possible.
These technologies have changed the way we live. But what if the next great leap isn’t something external at all?
What if the most advanced, intuitive, and transformative technology is already within you?

Your body is an intelligent system
You don’t have to fully understand electricity to trust that flipping a switch will turn on the light. In the same way, you don’t have to be a scientist to begin exploring your own inner intelligence, the subconscious mind.
Your subconscious governs as much as 95% of your mental and emotional processes. It holds your memories, your belief systems, your patterns, and your protective mechanisms. It influences your behaviors, your health, and how you experience the world.
Muscle testing (also known as applied kinesiology) is a simple yet powerful way to connect directly with this inner database. Through subtle responses in your body, like muscle strength or gentle shifts in posture, your subconscious can communicate a clear “yes” or “no.” These signals give you insight into what your body and energy system are holding, needing, or asking for in the moment.
The future is inner
We’ve become used to using apps and devices to track our steps, monitor our sleep, and measure our heart rate. But what if we could go even deeper, and listen to the emotional, energetic, and subconscious layers of our well-being?
This is where muscle testing becomes so powerful. It allows you to ask questions like:
Is this symptom pointing to something deeper?
Is there emotional stress stored in my body?
Are there any limiting beliefs holding me back that are ready to be released?
When we learn to tap into the body’s wisdom, we begin to recognise that healing is about listening, understanding, and aligning.
Muscle testing at home: a beginner’s guide to your inner yes and no
There’s something incredibly empowering about learning to ask your own body what it needs, and getting an answer.
Muscle testing is one of the simplest ways to start building a relationship with your inner intelligence. It’s a way of tuning into the subconscious, gently bypassing the analytical mind and accessing the truth that lives underneath.
You don’t need to be an expert to begin. You don’t even need to know how it all works. Just like flipping on a light switch, the power is already running. All you need is the intention to connect.
What is muscle testing?
Muscle testing, or kinesiology, is a method of asking the body yes/no questions and receiving answers based on subtle changes in muscle strength. The subconscious responds with a clear “yes” when something is aligned or true, and a “no” when it is not.
There are many ways to test, from using your fingers to the popular sway test. The key is to stay relaxed, neutral, and open.
Consider trying this: the sway test
Stand up with your feet shoulder-width apart. Take a few deep breaths, relax, and ground yourself. Then say aloud:
“My name is [your real name].”
Notice if your body sways forward or backward. Most people will sway forward as a yes.
Then say:
“My name is [a different name].”
Often, the body will sway backward to indicate a no.
This simple test is the beginning of learning to receive subtle signals from your subconscious. With practice, you can begin to ask more meaningful questions like:
Is there an emotion I’m holding that’s ready to be released?
Is this belief still serving me?
Is there something I need to support my body today?
How I use this in my work
Muscle testing is the foundation of the modalities I work with — The Emotion Code, The Body Code, and The Belief Code. Each of these systems uses muscle testing to ask the subconscious what needs attention, what’s ready to shift, and what is keeping you from feeling fully aligned and well.
The beauty of this approach is that it's not about guessing, pushing, or diagnosing. It's about listening.
Proxy testing and the energy web
Here’s something many people may be surprised to learn: with permission and intention, someone else can connect to your subconscious and receive answers on your behalf through muscle testing. This is called proxy testing.
It may sound unusual at first, but think about it: you can send a voice message through invisible frequencies. You can share your location with someone across the world. We’ve already accepted that we are connected through unseen networks.
Proxy muscle testing works in a similar way, tapping into the energetic web that connects us all. It's not mind reading or magic. It's intention meeting intuition, grounded in respect and clarity.
Inner tech is the next frontier
Just like the invention of electricity or the rise of the internet and an AI reshaped society, we are now stepping into an age where understanding and working with our inner technology will reshape the way we heal, grow, and evolve.
This isn’t about abandoning science or logic. It’s about adding another layer. It’s about honoring that the body knows, and that we can learn to ask and receive answers with care.
Muscle testing is one tool. A powerful one. It can reconnect you with your body’s wisdom and help you understand what you need, emotionally, physically, energetically in real time.
A quiet invitation
If this concept sparks something in you, even if you’re still wrapping your mind around it, I invite you to stay curious. Sit with it. Feel into it.
The future is not just in the next app, device, or upgrade. The future is in your ability to tune inward and understand yourself on a deeper level.

❓ Frequently asked questions about muscle testing
Q1: What exactly is muscle testing? Think of muscle testing as a gentle way to have a conversation with your body. By noticing small shifts in muscle strength or movement, you can get a “yes” or “no” from your subconscious, almost like checking in with your inner guidance system.
Q2: Do I need special training to try it? Not at all. Anyone can start with something as simple as the sway test. Practitioners may use muscle testing in more structured ways, but you do not need a certificate or special skills to begin listening to your body at home.
Q3: Is muscle testing scientific? It is not a medical diagnostic tool, so it works best as a complement to healthcare, not instead of it. Many people find it incredibly helpful for clarity, emotional release, and self-awareness, even if science does not fully explain all the “how.”
Q4: Can someone else test for me? Yes, this is called proxy testing. With your permission and clear intention, another person can act as a bridge for your subconscious. It may sound unusual, but it is a lot like how invisible networks already connect us, such as Wi-Fi or phone signals.
Q5: What kinds of questions can I ask? Almost anything. You might start simple: “Is this food supportive for me today?” or “Is there an emotion I am ready to let go of?” With practice, you will feel more confident asking about beliefs, habits, and even next steps in life.
Q6: How often should I practice? As often as feels good. Some people check in daily for little decisions, while others lean on it during stressful times or when they are working through something deeper. The more you practice, the clearer the signals become.
⭐ Gentle reminder: Muscle testing is a tool for self-awareness and personal growth. It is not a replacement for medical or mental health advice. If you have concerns about your health or wellbeing, always check in with a qualified healthcare professional.
